There’s a lot of talk about this “invisible enemy” called COVID-19 that is impacting all of us. Maybe one of our personal responses at this time is to be a visible friend.
To simply show up.
Above is a picture of Sonja, the owner of a brand new cafe in our local area. They had just started out before Covid-19 hit and they’ve now had to scramble to make a way with just take-away. Tough when you haven’t even had time to gather a loyal customer base. I love that she and the crew still have an amazing “can do” attitude.
Now I’m sure there’s others like Sonja doing it tough - upending business models, financial strain, dreams shattered, etc. Across all industries particularly tourism, hospitality, entertainment, health. There are also the vulnerable and the elderly that we cannot forget.
Whether in person (within social distancing guidelines) or on a video call.
